Inspired by the flowing lines found in Nature, I create through a process of subtraction – the removal of material to expose the life and movement possible within a traditionally linear medium. I hand-carve and hand-shape my Leaf Bowl designs out of solid wood. Each is a one of a kind. Leaf Bowl
was published in the book
500 Wood Bowls by Lark Books in fall 2004.
