My work is a reflection of Life—my surroundings, people and events, both close
and far away. There are challenges to be faced; however, there is much that we
are blessed with. This work represents a renewal for me. It came at an important
time, helping me recognize and embrace the promises of the future. This work is
my celebration of the renewal and continuance of Life.
Renewal was a finalist in the tenth annual themed
design competition at the Wharton Esherick Museum in Paoli,
Pennsylvania, in September 2003.
